I love the vibes of this convention. Even though it’s small, I’ve enjoyed taking part in it so much these past two years and it keeps getting better!

We were all so impressed. We go to a lot of Con events and understand the challenges. We dubbed this the fun con with heart!

Thanks to our sponsor! Chipper’s Lanes provided prizes for the cosplay contest and video game contest! Be sure to visit the Chipper’s booth at the con!

Frequently Asked Questions
When will the comic con be?
May 9th is the official date for the annual compass comic con! People in our mailing list will get early access to badges and get updates as we get closer to the event.
How much will the badges be?
We hope to keep the admission prices at $10 per badge. Children under 8 can get in for $5. Depending on our resources we may charge extra for premium badges that would allow you to do more expensive and resource extensive crafts.
What is there in the comic con?
Our comic con will have many activities available to attendees. These events include shopping from talented local artists in our vendor halls which can offer a wide array of fandom or personal inspired projects. We will also have panels open for attendance, learn about things like painting metallic looks onto foam and 3d prints, to writing tips and video game history. We will also have food available for hungry patrons as well as arts and crafts demonstrations and workshops.
A comic con at a school? What?!?
It’s true! Compass Community Collaborative School is a project-based school in which students learn multi-disciplinary content through real-world application, addressing real issues in our community. Our students wanted to connect people and establish a third space where we can all enjoy our fandoms and be our weird selves for a day – and show off the amazing STEM-infused projects we made over the semester.
