Serenity is a cosplayer in Colorado who loves teaching! She was a Maker-in-Residence at the Denver Public Library last October, where she taught library patrons how to use EVA foam and sewing for their cosplays, and was an Artist in Residence at the Children’s Museum of Denver, where she made cosplay-related projects with kids. Last year she won 2nd place in the novice category in Vincon’s cosplay contest and a Judge’s Award at Denver Fan Expo. Her cosplays have been featured on Dead by Daylight and Blizzard Entertainment’s social media channels. She is currently working on a Monster Hunter Wilds cosplay.

Lindz Sews has been cosplaying on-and-off for over 20 years and came back “on” again in 2022. After an extended hiatus, they returned to competing in 2024 and have enjoyed several wins, most recently being awarded Best in Show at Fort Collins Comic Con 2025. They are passionate about fabric, textures, and using materials as a means of showcasing a character’s lifestyle. Fabric will always be their comfort zone, but they enjoy exploring new skills such as leather work and 3D modeling. Cosplay has provided them with an amazing creative outlet and a wonderful community where they can be themselves while being anyone but. They can’t wait to meet and share ideas with more creative souls!
